Just like Old No.7 and Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack is charcoal mellowed before going into the barrel. But then it takes another trip through charcoal once it’s reached maturity. This extra ƒ??blessingƒ?? gives Gentleman Jack its exceptionally smooth finish. Jack Daniel toyed with double mellowing, but due to limitations back then he never quite perfected it. We’re glad we discovered his recipe. And we think he’d be proud of the result.
